Hollywood star and Superman series lead actor Henry Cavill refused to return to the Superman series.
The Hollywood actor shared a post on his official Instagram account and formally announced that he is bidding farewell to the Superman series.
"I just met with James Gunn and Peter Safran and it's sad news that I won't be returning as Superman," the actor wrote in his message.
"It's not easy news, but that's life," Henry Cavill wrote after the studio announced his return in October.
Henry Cavill wished Superman series creator James Gunn and Peter all the best for the future and said, "Thank you to the fans who have loved me for so many years."
Remember that in October of this year, Henry Cavill confirmed in an Instagram video that he will be back on screen as Superman.
The announcement came after Black Adam made a brief appearance as Superman in the mid-credits scene, but he has now bid farewell to the iconic series.
It should be noted that James Gunn has announced that a new edition of the Superman series will be coming soon, but no information has been provided yet as to who will play the role of Superman.
